Neelkanth Bhojnalaya

Neelkanth Bhojnalaya is right by the Indore railway station in Chhoti Gwaltoli. We are located at 2/20, Kalyan Vishranthi Grah on Neelkanth Street. Since we are so close to the station, we get a lot of travelers who are just in town for a few hours or waiting for their next train. It is a loud and busy area, with rickshaws honking and people rushing around with bags. I have been here for a long time, and I have seen the station change quite a bit. The bhojnalaya is a plain place with long tables and benches. We do not do anything fancy with the decor. It is mostly just about getting the food ready for the people who are hungry and in a hurry. I wake up early every day to get the kitchen started because the first crowd usually arrives before the sun is even fully up. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the ceiling fan in the corner wobbles a bit, but it gets the job done. We serve simple meals that remind people of home. It is a tough business sometimes, keeping up with the constant flow of people, but we are used to it by now. Indore is famous for its food, and while we are just a small spot near the tracks, we are happy to be part of it. We just keep serving and moving along.
