Balaji Nagar is a pretty established spot in Kukatpally, and I’ve been at H.I.G - 21 for quite some time now. It’s a solid house, the kind they used to build with plenty of space for everything. My work area is tucked away in one of the side rooms where I can keep things organized, or at least try to. Hyderabad is growing so fast, but this part of Kukatpally still feels like the neighborhood I remember from years ago. I spend most of my mornings answering messages and sorting through the paperwork that comes in. The house has a small porch where I sit when I need a break from the screen. People know the address 500072 well enough, so I don't usually have to give too many directions. The furniture is all older stuff, mostly wood, and it’s a bit heavy to move around. I don't have any fancy mission statements or a team of people in suits. It’s just me here, making sure things get done properly and on time. The gate squeaks a bit when someone opens it, which is actually helpful because it lets me know when a visitor is arriving. Sometimes the internet acts up, which is a pain, but usually, it's a steady place to get things finished. It’s not a polished corporate office, but it works for me. I keep a stack of old magazines on the side table that I never really read.
