Saket Foods

Our small operation for Saket Foods is set up at Door Number 4-305/1 in the Jallpally area. It is not the easiest place to find if you aren't from around here, but we like it just fine. The building is simple and we use the space we have to get the food work done every day. Jallpally has its own rhythm and we are just a small part of it. Most mornings start early because that’s when things need to move. We don’t really bother with fancy signs or big advertisements. People usually find us because they need what we have, and word of mouth travels well enough in this neighborhood. The inside of the place is mostly storage and work areas. It smells like the different products we handle, which changes depending on the day. We have a small crew and everyone knows what their job is. It gets a bit cramped when a big delivery comes in, but we make do. There is always something to clean or a stack of crates to move around. We don't have a lot of time for sitting around talking, though we do take our tea breaks when we can. It’s a basic setup but it works for us. We aren't trying to be some giant corporation, just a local business doing its thing in this corner of the world. It stays busy enough for us to keep going.
