TELANGANA POWERLOOM AND TEXTILES DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION LIMITED

We are based in the BRKR Bhavan building, right on Tank Bund Road in Hyderabad. We’re up on the 4th floor in the ‘C’ Block. It’s a busy building with a lot of different departments. Our focus is specifically on the powerloom and textile development side of things across Telangana. Being in Saifabad, we’re right in the middle of the city. The office is pretty standard for a government-associated corporation. Lots of files, desks, and people coming in and out to discuss textile projects. We spend a lot of time looking at how the looms are doing in the districts and trying to keep things organized. It’s a lot of paperwork and meetings. The view from the building is nice since we're near the water, but we're usually too busy with the day-to-day tasks to look out much. We work with different weavers and units to see what's happening on the ground. It’s a big responsibility, but we just take it one day at a time. It’s not always smooth sailing, there are plenty of delays and things to fix, but that's how it goes in this sector. We’ve been here at this address for quite a while now. People know us for being the main spot for textile development talk. We just try to keep the wheels turning for the local industry. It's a regular job for us, really. We handle what is on the desk.
