Gyana Mudhra Textile Industry

Out in Uppal, specifically Dwaraka Nagar, you will find us at Plot 13. The house number is 8-64/5, which sounds complicated, but we are easy to find once you get into the lane. It is a residential area mostly, so it is quieter than the main road. We converted part of the property for the textile work. It is a family thing. My brothers and I handle most of it. We have some heavy equipment in the back that makes a lot of noise, so we try not to run it too late so the neighbors do not complain. The courtyard is where we do the loading and unloading. When the sun is out, it is a nice place to work, but it gets dusty. We deal with a lot of raw materials and half-finished goods. It is a lot of physical labor, lifting rolls and packing boxes. We do not have a website or any of that. We just talk to people who need work done. Sometimes we have too much work and we are stressed, and other times it is a bit slow and we just sit around talking. We have been in Uppal for many years now and know everyone on the street. It is a basic setup, nothing to brag about, but it keeps us busy and we like being our own bosses. Every morning starts with a sweep of the floor.
