Aalamwaar Textiles

Aalamwaar Textiles is right at No. 5-4-103, sitting on the corner of Murlidhar Bagh Jn Road in the Abids area. Abids is an old part of the city, and it’s always crowded with shoppers and traffic, which keeps things interesting for us. Our building is a bit older, but it serves us well for storing and showing the textiles we deal with. We have a lot of regular customers who have been coming to this junction for years to see what we have in stock. The office inside is a bit cramped because we use every inch of space for fabric storage. You’ll see rolls of different materials stacked up almost to the ceiling. It’s not a fancy showroom, it’s more of a working warehouse where people can touch the fabrics and see the colors in person. We don’t really do much in terms of advertising, we just rely on being in a good location and treating people fairly when they walk through the door. The fans stay on all day to keep the dust off the cloth, and there’s usually a pot of tea going in the back. It’s a simple setup, just the way we like it, without any of that modern corporate feel that you see in the newer parts of town.
