Loom Fab

If you head over toward the Ganpati Temple in Rk Puram and look for Street Number 8, you will find Loom Fab sitting at Plot 38. We are a small operation that deals with fabric and weaving. It’s a simple setup we’ve got here. The space is filled with the sound of looms and the smell of raw materials. We don't have a big reception area or anyone to answer phones with a script. It’s usually just us working on whatever orders came in recently. Sometimes the place gets a bit cluttered with rolls of cloth, but we know where everything is. We started out just wanting to make good use of the space we had. Now, the routine is pretty set. We come in early, check the machines, and get to work. The neighborhood is quiet for the most part, except for the temple nearby which gets busy during festivals. Being in Rk Puram is convenient for us. We see the same faces every day. There’s no marketing team here, just a couple of people who know how to handle a loom. We try to keep things decent without making a big fuss about it. It’s just a job, really, but one we take seriously enough to keep the doors open all these years. If the gate is open, someone is probably inside working on a piece of fabric. We aren't fancy, just steady and honest with our work.
