Kalaga Fabrics

We are based in Gokhale Nagar in Hapur, at address No. 3-3-40. It is a relatively quiet neighborhood, which is nice for a change. Our building is filled with the smell of fresh cotton and the various fabrics we keep in stock. It is a small operation, and we don't have a lot of employees running around. Mostly, it’s just a couple of us handling everything from taking deliveries to checking the quality of the cloth. The wooden shelves we use are quite old and they creak a bit when we move the heavy rolls of fabric. We have some old posters on the walls that have faded over time, but they make the place feel more like home. We don't have a fancy showroom, so customers just come right into the storage area to see what we have. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, and we just have to sit and wait it out while chatting about the local news. We use a lot of chalk to mark the fabrics, so our clothes usually have white dust on them by the end of the day. It is not a complicated business, and we like it that way. We just try to be helpful to anyone who walks in and make sure the fabrics are sorted right before they leave.
