Our office is on the fourth floor of Pvr Chambers. We’re right on Road No. 1 in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. It’s a busy spot with lots of cars and people moving about. Being up on the fourth floor helps get away from some of the street noise, though you can still hear the horns honking in the afternoon. We handle the spinning and weaving side of the business from here. It’s mostly administrative work, looking over schedules and talking to the mills. The office has a lot of windows, so there is good light during the day. We’ve been at this 6-3-249/2/a address for a while now. Most of the staff has been together for a few years, so we have our own way of doing things. We aren't big on fancy meetings. Usually, we just talk across the desks if something needs to be sorted out quickly. The air conditioning works most of the time, which is lucky for the Hyderabad heat. We have some samples of the yarn and cloth sitting around on the shelves. It smells a bit like cotton and old paper in here. We take turns bringing in snacks for the tea break in the afternoon. It’s a steady kind of job. We just keep our heads down and get the tasks done before the weekend comes around. Nothing much happens out of the ordinary, which is how we like it.
