Kamal Cottons

You can find Kamal Cottons at H. No. 1-117 in Friends Colony. We are sitting right opposite the Janapriya Apartments in Miyapur. It’s a pretty easy spot to find if you’re familiar with that part of town. We deal mostly with cottons and the various products made from them. The office is inside a house-style building, which gives it a bit of a different feel than a standard commercial block. It feels a bit more personal that way. We have a lot of cotton stock stored here, so it smells like fresh laundry sometimes. The area around Miyapur has grown a lot lately, especially with all the new apartments like Janapriya going up. It brings more people around, which is good for the neighborhood. We spend a lot of our time checking the feel of the cotton and talking to the folks who supply it to us. It’s not a high-stress environment, but we stay busy enough. The desks are covered in notebooks and pens because we still like to write things down by hand. There isn't much in the way of fancy decor. We just have what we need to get the work done. The staff is small, usually just a few of us here at any given time. We take our lunch breaks together and talk about whatever is going on in the news. It’s a quiet, steady kind of business and that suits us just fine.
