Our place is at D.No. 3-100/1 in Paritala, which is part of the Kanchikacherla Mandal. Sribhuven Tex Private Limited is mainly about textiles and fabrics. We chose this spot because it’s close to where many of the workers live. The building is a simple one, nothing too flashy, but it’s got enough room for the machines and the storage of the cloth rolls. During the day it gets quite loud with the equipment running, but we don't mind it. It shows that we are actually getting things done. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the fabric to make sure there aren't any snags or bad patches. It’s tedious work but someone has to do it. The people in Paritala are mostly farming or doing trade, so we fit in pretty well. We have a small office corner where we handle the bills and the orders. Sometimes the trucks arrive late because of traffic on the highway, and we have to stay back to help unload everything. It’s not a 9-to-5 kind of job really, it’s more like we stay until the work is finished. We have some local tea and snacks in the afternoon to keep our energy up. We’ve been here for a bit now and the locals know us as the textile folks down the road. It’s a steady business and we just keep it moving.
