If you are around Shantinagar X Roads in Hyderabad, you might have seen our place, Nizam Shahi Hyderabadi Kebabs & Caterers. We are right near Friends Mobile Point and just across from the Marjan Hotel. It’s a lively area, and the smell of the grill usually lets people know where we are. We spend most of our day prepping meat and getting the spices just right. It’s a messy job, and the kitchen gets very hot, especially during the lunch and dinner rush. We do catering for bigger groups too, which means we have to pack everything into large containers and get them out the door fast. Sometimes the traffic in Vijay Nagar Colony makes it hard to be exactly on time, but we try our best. We don't have a fancy menu with photos; we just cook what we know how to make. The staff here has been working together for a while, and we just get on with things. It’s a lot of washing dishes and cleaning floors after everyone has eaten. We see a lot of regular faces from the neighborhood coming in for a quick bite. We don't use any special words to describe our food; it’s just kebabs and local dishes made the way we’ve always done it. It’s a basic shop, but it keeps us on our feet from morning until late at night.
