Our business, Native Handloom And Handicrafts India Private Limited, is tucked away in Shangrila Apts. We are at 8-2-269/3/1/B on Road No-2 in Banjara Hills. If you are near the Lumbini Mall, you are basically right there. It’s a good spot because it’s easy for people to find us even though we are in an apartment building. We work with a lot of traditional weavers and makers from different areas to bring in handloom goods and various handicrafts. The office is usually filled with bags and boxes of items that just arrived. It can look a bit messy at times, but we know where everything is. We don't have a big showroom with fancy lighting. It’s more of a workspace where we sort through the stock and get it ready. There’s a lot of checking for quality, making sure the colors and the weaves are what they should be. It’s slow work because everything is handmade. We’ve been at this address for a while now and the locals know us. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything like that. It's just us and the goods. Sometimes the traffic on Road No-2 is a nightmare, but that’s just life in Hyderabad. We stay focused on the crafts and the people who make them. It’s a simple way of doing business, rooted in things that take time to create.
