Clout Handloom Fashions Llp is based out of New Madhava Nagar in Almasguda. We are at Plot No. 97E/P. It is a quieter part of the city compared to the main hubs. We focus on handloom items, so there is usually a lot of cotton and silk yarn around the place. The office feels more like a workshop than a business office. We spend a lot of time checking how the weaves look and making sure the patterns are right. It’s not a fast-paced environment; things take time when they are handmade by people. We have a small storage room that is usually packed with bundles of fabric waiting to be shipped out to various places. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it stays pretty calm during the day except for the occasional street vendor. We have a few desks where we handle the orders and a large table for inspecting the clothes before they go in boxes. Sometimes the colors of the dyes are a bit different from what we expected, so we have to sort through them manually. It is a lot of hands-on work and our fingers get tired. We don't really have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us making sure the handloom products get to the people who want them. We like the pace here in Almasguda. Sometimes the delivery trucks have trouble finding the plot number, but they eventually get here. It’s a simple life working with textiles and we enjoy it.
