ARTHROSPIRA AGROPONICS PRIVATE LIMITED

Arthrospira Agroponics is based at H.NO:-10-2-289/15 on First Street in Shanthinagar, Asifnagar. It’s an interesting business to be in because we deal with agroponics. Mostly, we are experimenting with different ways to grow things without just using traditional soil. Our place in Hyderabad is a bit of a mix between an office and a small lab area. There are often containers and different setups we are testing out. It’s not always clean and tidy because working with plants and water can get a bit messy. We spend a lot of time monitoring the systems and making sure the nutrients are right. Sometimes a pump fails and we have to drop everything to fix it before the plants suffer. It’s a lot of trial and error. We aren't some massive agricultural firm with hundreds of acres. We’re just working in our corner of Asifnagar trying to figure out better ways to grow food. People in the neighborhood sometimes peek in to see what we’re doing with all the lights and tubes. We don't mind. It's just us trying to make something work. It's a slow process growing things, so you need a lot of patience. We've had some failures along the way, but that's just how you learn in this line of work. We just keep at it and see what happens with each new harvest. It’s rewarding when something finally grows well after weeks of just staring at green shoots in a tank.
