Pearl Rosary School

Pearl Rosary School is located right on G T Road, at No. 158 in the Chatra Tentultala area. Being on such a major road means there is always a lot of movement outside our gates. We have been here for years, watching children grow up and move on to other things. The building is not a modern glass structure; it is a practical space where we have our classrooms and a small area for the kids to move around. Every morning, you can hear the sound of students arriving and the general hubbub of the school day starting. We have some teachers who have been with us for a long time, and they know the families in Chatra very well. It is a neighborhood school through and through. The classrooms are simple with wooden desks and chalkboards. We do not have all the latest high-tech gadgets, but we make sure the kids learn what they need to. Sometimes the traffic on G T Road gets quite loud, but once the lessons start, everyone just tunes it out. We handle the daily administration from a small office near the entrance. It is often busy with parents dropping off forgotten lunches or asking about schedules. We do not try to be anything we are not. We are just a local school providing a place for the kids in this part of town to study. It is a lot of hard work keeping everything running, but we just take it one day at a time.
