Dolphin School is tucked away in East Sapuipara, over here in Howrah. It’s a typical neighborhood school. We don’t have a giant campus, but we use every bit of space we have. The lanes around here are quite narrow, so you really have to know where you’re going to find us. We’ve been here for a while, and most of the neighbors know the sound of our school bell by now. In the mornings, it’s a bit of a squeeze with everyone arriving at once. We have a small courtyard where the kids gather for assembly. The building is painted a simple color, nothing too bright. We spend most of our time just keeping things organized, from the registers to the lunch breaks. The classrooms have big windows, which is good for the breeze, though sometimes the noise from the street comes in too. It’s a very local feel here. We know most of the parents by name because they live just a few streets away. We don’t have any big corporate backing or anything. It’s just us, the teachers, and the staff trying to keep the place running smoothly. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to open the doors wider to let the light in. It’s just how things are in this part of Howrah, 711227.
