Arundhati Academy School

It can be a bit tricky to find if you aren't from around here, but the locals know the way. We occupy a building that has been part of this neighborhood for quite a while. Inside, the rooms are set up for different grade levels. We have some old wooden furniture and blackboards that we still use. It is a bustling environment, especially in the mornings when the students are arriving. We do not have a big field, but the kids find space to move around. The staff handles the daily lessons and the administrative work from a small desk area near the entrance. Sometimes the rain makes the lane a bit muddy, but we just deal with it. We aren't a big institution with a lot of funding. We just provide a place for kids in this part of Howrah to come and learn their lessons. Most of the families around here have been sending their children to us for years. We keep things basic and focused on the books. It is a very grounded atmosphere. There are no corporate slogans on the walls. It is just a school in a lane, doing what schools do every day. We just keep the door open for the students.
