St Agnes Convent School

At 1 King's Road, you’ll find St Agnes Convent School. It’s a quiet corner of the neighborhood, though the street outside can get a bit hectic during the morning rush. The school has a very calm feel once you get inside the main gates. We have those tall windows and long hallways that stay cool even when the sun is beating down on the pavement. People have been coming here for generations. We see mothers bringing their daughters, and they tell us about how they used to sit in the same classrooms years ago. It’s a nice feeling to have that kind of history. We don’t have a lot of big advertisements or fancy slogans. We just go about our business day by day. The classrooms are filled with the usual stuff—wooden desks, charts on the walls, and plenty of books. We spend a lot of time making sure everyone follows the rules, but we also have our fun during the school plays and sports days. The garden area is a nice place for a break, even if the grass isn't always perfectly green. We have a small group of staff who really know the place inside and out. It’s not a corporate institution. It’s just a school on King’s Road where we try to do a decent job for the kids every single day.
