About Liluah Shishu Vidyapith – Education in Howrah
We’ve been situated here on Panchanantala Road for quite some time now. Most folks living around Liluah know exactly where 77 is because of the morning bustle. It isn't a massive, shiny campus, but it serves the families in this part of Howrah just fine. The building has seen many seasons, and the walls have that lived-in look you get with schools that stay busy year after year. Every day starts with the sound of rickshaws dropping off kids and the usual chatter in the hallways. We don't go for anything over the top. The classrooms are simple, with wooden benches and old blackboards that have seen better days. It gets a bit warm during the summer months, but the ceiling fans keep the air moving while the children work on their lessons. Teachers here are mostly locals themselves, so there is a very familiar feeling when you walk in. We don't have a giant playground, but the kids find ways to stay active during their breaks. It’s a place where we stick to the basics of education without too much fuss or extra stuff. You might see a few stray papers or a slightly messy desk in the office, but that's just how a real school looks. We deal with the daily challenges like power cuts or rainy days when the street gets a bit muddy. People trust us with their children, and we just try to do right by them every day. It’s a bit noisy, a bit crowded, but it’s our little corner of the world.
