St Dominic Savio School

St Dominic Savio School is located at 59 B K Mukherjee Road in Salkia. It’s an old part of town, and the street is usually packed with people and traffic. The school building itself is right there on the road, so you can’t really miss it. It’s a tall structure with narrow stairs that the kids seem to fly up and down without ever getting tired. We’ve been here for a long time, and the walls have that old-fashioned look to them. It gets quite noisy because of the buses and horns outside, but we’re used to it. Inside, the classrooms are a bit tight, but we fit everyone in. There’s always a bit of a smell of old paper and floor cleaner in the air. We don't have a big playground, so the kids mostly hang out in the common areas or the corridors during their breaks. The office is a small room near the entrance where we handle all the fees and the parents coming in. We don't use any fancy management systems; it's mostly just big ledgers and pens. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to open all the windows to keep it from getting too stuffy. It’s a busy, cramped, and lively place that just keeps going regardless of how crazy the street outside gets. We just do our best to keep things orderly.
