Das Saw Mill

Das Saw Mill has been in Vill- Kantalia Itkhola for a long time now. We are right by the Po- Nibra area. If you come by, you’ll hear the machines before you see the sign. It’s a dusty place, as you would expect with all the wood being cut. We get logs in and we turn them into whatever the customers need for their building projects or furniture. It’s hard work and it’s loud. My father started this and now we just keep it going the same way. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know to come to the Itkhola area when they need timber. The smell of fresh sawdust is everywhere here. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to work, especially when the rain gets heavy and we have to cover everything up. We have a few guys who have been with us for years. They know the machines better than anyone. We aren't trying to be a massive factory. We just handle the local orders from around Nibra and the nearby villages. It’s an honest way to spend the day. You get dirty and tired, but the work is finished at the end of it. We keep our tools sharp and our prices where they’ve always been. If you need wood, you just find us at the mill.
