K. M. Rubber Industry

Down in the village of Chara Panchla, specifically in the Mollapara area, you’ll find our small setup. We are under the Panchla police station jurisdiction. It’s much more of a village vibe here than those big city industrial parks you see in the news. K. M. Rubber Industry is a place where we just focus on the basics of rubber production. The roads around Mollapara are quite narrow, so we have to be careful when the bigger delivery trucks come by. We started this because there was a need for local work in this part of the district. It’s mostly just a few of us working the machines and keeping things organized. The shed gets really hot in the summer, but we’ve got some big fans going to keep the air moving. Sometimes the power goes out in Panchla, and we just have to sit and wait it out. It gives us a chance to talk and catch up on things. We keep a small garden near the entrance, though it's mostly just some weeds and a few hardy plants that survive the dust. We aren't trying to be the biggest industry in the whole district. We just want to make enough to keep the machines running for another year. It’s a simple goal and it keeps us grounded. We know our neighbors and they know us, and that is usually enough to keep the day going well.
