Fun Place

Hardutt Rai Chamaria Road is a busy spot in Howrah. You know how it is around here, there is always some noise or a car horn blaring somewhere nearby. Fun Place is tucked in at 8/1. It is not a huge spot, but we make do with the space we have. Most people who come by are locals from the neighborhood. We see the same faces quite a bit, which is nice. It is mostly about giving people something to do rather than just sitting at home all day. We have got some equipment and things laid out. It is not brand new, but it works fine for what we need. Sometimes the floor gets a bit dusty from all the feet coming in and out, but we sweep it when we can. We do not have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just a few of us making sure the doors stay open and people have a reason to smile for an hour or two. Howrah can be a bit gray sometimes, so having a spot like this matters to the folks living on this street. We do not try to be anything we are not. If you want a place that feels like a neighbor’s house, then 8/1 is where you go. We might run out of tea or the light might flicker, but that is just the charm of an old building. We like it this way.
