This part of Howrah, especially around Ramrajatala and Sasthitala, has a very specific feel to it. Bell Granito Ceramica Ltd. is tucked away here in the Khayerbagan area. We are quite close to the Santragachi post office, which makes it easy for mail. If you have ever been to this side of West Bengal, you know the streets can be narrow and full of life at all hours. Our spot is basically where we manage all our ceramic and granite business for the region. We do not have a big glass front or a fancy reception area. It is an old-school way of doing things here. We handle a lot of phone calls and local contractors coming in to see what we have available in the stacks. Sometimes the humidity in Howrah makes the warehouse a bit sticky in the afternoons, but that is just part of working in this climate. We focus on getting the right tiles to the right people. It is a lot of logistics and checking lists, really. We spend our mornings checking the arrivals and our afternoons making sure the deliveries are loaded up properly. The people working here are locals who know the 711104 area like the back of their hand. We have been here at this address for some time, and it has become our second home.
