We are over in Balapur, right in the Kalamnuri area. Vishal Valley Farmer Producer Companylimited started because we needed a better way to manage our crops. Kediya Balaji Dagadulal’s place is where we mostly meet up to discuss things. It’s not a big corporate setup, just a bunch of neighbors in the valley. We grow what we can and try to find the best way to get it to market without losing out. Farming around here has its ups and downs, mostly depending on the rain. We decided that forming this company was better than everyone working in different directions. It’s practical work. We spend a lot of time on our feet and not much time at a desk. If you need to find us, we are usually out in the fields or at the house in Balapur. We don't use big words or have complicated plans. We just want to make sure the farming stays profitable for everyone in the group. There’s a lot of trust involved when you work with people you’ve known your whole life. We deal with seeds, equipment, and the harvest as a group now. It’s been a learning process for all of us. No one here is a businessman by trade. We are just farmers who realized that staying together is the only way to move forward in this economy. We do our best to help each neighbor when the season gets busy and hectic.
