Utpreksha Farmer Producer Company Limited is based in Dakephal, in the Tal. Ghansawangi area. Our office is located at C/O Sheshrao Ganpat Gadhave. We are a group of farmers who decided it was time to join forces. In a place like Ghansawangi, you really need to stick together to get things done. We handle everything from the seeds to the final sale of the crops. The office in Dakephal is just a simple building where we meet up. It’s often dusty from the roads, but it’s where we do our thinking. Sheshrao helps keep the books in order, which is a big help because most of us would rather be outside. We aren't trying to be some massive company. We just want to make sure that the people who grow the food are the ones who benefit from it. Sometimes the rains don't come when they should, and we have to sit around and figure out a new plan. It’s stressful, but doing it together makes it a bit easier. We don't have a website or a marketing person. If you want to talk to us, you just come to the address in Dakephal. We’re usually there early in the morning or late in the evening. It’s just how life is for us here. We’re proud of what we’re building, one day at a time, even if it's a slow process.
