Ujwalatai Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are located at House Number Sr No 160/2/A along Mudi Road in Basmath. This is part of Hingoli, and Ujwalatai Farmer Producer Company Limited is where we handle all our agricultural business. It’s a fairly straightforward setup we have here. Most of the people involved are from the nearby farms. We spend our mornings checking on the crops and our afternoons dealing with the administrative side of things at the office. The road outside can get quite dusty during the dry season, but that is just part of living in Basmath. We deal with whatever the local farmers are bringing in, mostly grains or whatever is in season. It is not always easy work. Sometimes the machinery breaks down or the prices at the market drop unexpectedly. We just try to keep a level head and work through it. The office is a place for us to gather and figure out the next steps. It’s not very big, but it serves its purpose. We have been farming these lands for a long time, so we know what works and what doesn't. We aren't looking for anything flashy, just a way to make sure our produce gets sold and we can keep going for another year. It’s a community effort, really. Everyone puts in their bit of work and we share the load. That is how we stay afloat in this business while looking after our own families.
