Swapnapurti Processing Producer Companylimited is based in Karkheda, over in Tq Manora. You can find us at Ward No 1, care of Mr. Giridhari Rathod’s place. It’s a small village setup, so everyone knows where we are anyway. We focus on processing what the farmers around here grow. It started because a group of us realized we could do more if we pooled our resources together instead of everyone trying to do everything alone. It’s a lot of work to set up machines and keep them running in a place like this. We don’t have a big corporate building. Most of our meetings happen sitting around a table with some tea, talking about the crops and the prices. It’s a very practical way of doing things. We have had our share of struggles, like when the power goes out or a part breaks and we have to wait for someone to come from the city to fix it. But we don't mind too much. It’s just how life is here in Karkheda. We’re just trying to make sure the stuff we grow gets processed right so it’s worth more. We aren't experts in business talk, we just know our crops. It’s an honest way to make a living and we’re happy to be doing it together.
