Our company is based in Sindkhed, which is part of the Ghansawangi tehsil. We operate out of the space at Gat Number 101, which belongs to Badhrinath Manikrao. It is a rural area where everyone is pretty much involved in farming one way or another. We set this up because it was getting harder for individual farmers to deal with the markets on their own. By coming together here, we can manage the crops better. The office is a simple structure surrounded by fields. When the wind blows, you can smell the earth and the crops. We don't have any polished floors or expensive furniture. It’s mostly just wooden tables and a lot of registers filled with names and weights. We spend the morning hours getting things ready and the afternoons are usually for meetings or dealing with the harvest that comes in. The roads are narrow around here, so we have to coordinate the tractor movements carefully. It’s a tight-knit group and we all know each other’s families. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big brand. We just want to do the work of a producer company without any extra complications. It is a slow and steady kind of life, and we are fine with that. We just focus on the daily chores and keep the business running for the village.
