Savanekar Seeds Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited

We operate out of a small place in Sawana village, which is part of Sengaon in the Hingoli district. Savanekar Seeds Agro is basically just a local effort by people from around here. We’ve been living in this area for a long time, and we know the land here pretty well. Our focus is on the seeds and the general agro work that keeps everyone going in this part of Maharashtra. It's not a fancy operation at all. The office is just a simple room where we keep our records and meet with other farmers to discuss the season. We started this company because we wanted to have more control over what we grow and how we sell it to the bigger markets. In Hingoli, life revolves around the changing seasons. When it’s time to plant, everyone is busy, and when it’s time to harvest, it’s even crazier around the village. We try to help coordinate all that from our base in Sawana. We don't have a big website or a team of experts in suits. It’s just us, the local guys. The 431703 area is home for us. We deal with the same problems every farmer has, like the rain coming too late or the prices being too low for our hard work. By working as a producer company, we feel like we have a better chance to survive. We just take it one day at a time. It’s a lot of mud and hard work, but it's what we know.
