Started at House Number 14 in the Jawala village area, Guruvarya Farmer Producer Company Limited is just a local effort. We are situated in Kalamnoori tehsil within Hingoli district. Most of the people around here are involved in farming, so we thought why not group up. It is not a big company with a shiny building or anything. We just operate out of a regular spot in Hingoli-431514. The weather around Maharashtra can be tough on the crops, so we spend a lot of time discussing what to plant and when to sell. Sometimes the meetings go long and we do not always agree on everything, but that is just how it goes when you have a bunch of farmers in one room. We try to keep things simple and honest.
