Our small company is based at 36 Tola in Rath Aunta, which is in Hamirpur. It's named after Shymladevi and we work with the local kissans or farmers around here. Hamirpur is a place where you have to work hard to get anything out of the soil. We are just a group of people who decided to pool our resources. It's not a polished business with a lot of staff. Mostly, it's just a few of us handling the paperwork and talking to the farmers in the village. We spend a lot of time out in the sun, checking on things. The office in Rath Aunta is pretty basic, just a place to store files and meet when we need to. We don't have any fancy slogans. We just try to get the seeds and the tools to the people who need them. Sometimes we run into trouble with the transport or the prices aren't what we hoped, but we keep going anyway. It’s a local operation, and we like it that way. Most people around here know us by name. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big numbers. We just want to make sure the farming stays sustainable for our families and neighbors. It’s just daily life for us. Sometimes it gets overwhelming when everything needs to be done at once, but we manage to get through it together. That is just how we do things in our part of the world.
