Kutlehar Naturals Farmer Producer Company Limited

Over in Una district, specifically in the village of Kholin, we’ve got our little setup for the Kutlehar Naturals group. We use Yog Raj’s place as our home base. It’s located in Po Budhwar within the Bangana Tehsil. The weather here is much warmer than the hills, so we grow different things than the folks up north. We are really into the "naturals" side of things, sticking to traditional methods as much as we can. Farming in Kholin is what most of us have done since we were kids. There’s always something to do, whether it’s weeding or fixing the irrigation pipes when they break. We started this company to help all the local farmers get a fair shake when it comes to selling our harvests. We aren't experts at marketing or anything like that; we just know how to work the dirt. Usually, you’ll find a couple of us sitting in the office area trying to make sense of the new regulations or checking the weather forecast for the week. It gets pretty dusty and hot during the harvest season, and we all get pretty tired, but it’s good work. We just take it one day at a time, making sure the crops are healthy and the members are kept in the loop about what’s happening with the sales. We don't have a big staff, so we just do everything ourselves, from the sorting to the loading.
