We are Jai Nawahi Farmer Producer Company Limited. You can find us at Daroga Das’s place in Vill Jiar. That’s under the Chauri post office in Sujanpur, Hamirpur district. Jai Nawahi is a name that means a lot to the people in this part of Hamirpur, so we used it for the company. We are a local group through and through. Daroga Das is a local man who gave us some space in Jiar village to run the company business. It’s a small village setup with just the basics. We don't have corporate logos on everything or a big marketing budget to spend. We just have our names and our daily work in the fields. Sujanpur is a nice area, and the people here are mostly farmers like us. We got together because we realized that working as a group is much better than working alone when it comes to selling things. Most of our days are spent in Jiar, talking to the farmers who are part of the company. We handle the paperwork and try to make sense of all the rules and regulations. It’s not always easy for us, and sometimes we make mistakes with the forms, but we are learning as we go. We don't pretend to be something we aren't. We are just a small-town producer company trying to do right by our members and their families. If you are in the Sujanpur area, Jiar isn't hard to find.
