Jagatrani Farmer Producer Companylimited is based in Village Chandaut. If you look for us, we are at Mahipal Singh’s place. That’s in the Danda area near Post Sarila. We are all from the Hamirpur district. Farming is what we do here. Most of us have been doing this since we were kids. It’s not an easy life, but it’s our life. We set this up to help the local farmers get a bit more organized. The village is small and everyone knows everyone else. Sometimes we gather at Mahipal's house to talk about the latest harvest or what to plant next. Hamirpur 210432 is where our roots are. The work is mostly manual and depends on the seasons. We don't have any big machines or fancy stuff. Just some simple tools and our hands. It's about getting the grain or whatever we grow to the market. We try to help each other out when someone is struggling. The weather can be tough in this part of Uttar Pradesh. We just take it day by day. There is no big corporate office here. It is just a regular village house with some sacks of grain around. We are just local people trying to make a living from the land. It’s honest work and we take it seriously even if it’s quiet around here.
