The Pasta Bowl Company

The Pasta Bowl Company is up on the second floor of the Cross Point Mall, right in DLF City Phase IV. Gurgaon is a fast place, and being in a mall means there’s always something going on around us. We are at GL-201. We didn't want a place that felt like a typical mall food court. We wanted it to feel like a real kitchen where things actually get cooked. We spend a lot of time on our sauces and making sure the pasta is right. It’s not a huge place, so it can get a bit cramped when it’s full, but people don’t seem to mind too much. The mall AC sometimes has a mind of its own, so we deal with that as it comes. We aren't corporate people; we are just folks who like cooking. You won't find any slick advertisements from us. Most people find us while they're out shopping or working in the nearby offices. We keep things pretty simple. The kitchen staff is small, and we all know each other well. Sometimes things get a bit hectic during the dinner rush, but we just keep our heads down and cook. It’s a busy spot in a busy part of town. We are just here every day, making food and hoping the ingredients we ordered show up on time. It is a lot of work, but we like being here in the mall.
