Pizza Papa Johns

We are making pizzas over at Room-17 in Nathupur, specifically in the Dlf Phase-III area of Gurgaon. It’s a small space, mostly taken up by the big ovens and the prep tables where we work. It gets really hot in here, especially during the dinner rush when we have a dozen pizzas going at once. We spend our shift kneading dough, spreading sauce, and making sure the toppings are right. It’s a lot of work and our hands are usually covered in flour by the end of the night. Being in Phase-III means we are always busy because there are so many people living and working around here. The delivery drivers are constantly coming and going, grabbing boxes and heading out into the Gurgaon traffic. Sometimes the printer for the orders gets stuck, or we run out of a certain vegetable, but we just figure it out as we go along. We don't have a big dining area, it is mostly about getting the food out the door. The team is just a bunch of regular people who know how to work fast under pressure. We’ve been at this Nathupur spot for a while now and we know the shortcuts to get around the local streets. It isn't a fancy restaurant, just a hardworking kitchen trying to get hot food to people who are hungry at the end of their day. We just keep the ovens hot and the dough ready.
