Taste Of Tamil Nadu

Taste Of Tamil Nadu is located on the first floor of the Hudda Market in Gurgaon, specifically in Sector-57. We are in units 23 and 24, so we have a bit of room up there. It is right near the Hong Kong Bazar which is a place everyone knows around here. Being on the first floor means people have to walk up the stairs, but it gives us a bit of a view of the market below. We focus on the food from back home and try to keep it as close to that as we can. Gurgaon is a fast-moving place and people always seem to be in a rush, so we try to get things out as quickly as the kitchen allows. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that, it's just us and a couple of helpers. The market gets very busy on the weekends and sometimes the parking outside is a real mess, but that is just Gurgaon life I suppose. We spend a lot of time making sure the sambar and the chutneys are right because that is what people expect from us. The walls are simple and we don't have fancy lights, just enough to see what you are eating. It is a practical place for a meal when you are out shopping at the bazar. We’ve been in this unit for a while now and the market crowd feels like family.
