Swaran Steels

Our place, Swaran Steels, is situated at No.-253, Huda Sector-19, Part-1. It is more of a yard and storage space than a fancy shop. We deal with steel, so there is always a lot of heavy lifting and moving things around with the crane or by hand. The sector is mostly industrial and residential mixed, so it stays fairly active during the day. We have stacks of steel rods and sheets lying around the premises. It can be quite loud when the metal is being moved or cut. We don't have a big air-conditioned office; we usually just sit in the small cabin near the gate where we keep the records. The sun can get pretty hot out here in the open yard, so we try to get most of the heavy work done early in the morning. People come to us when they need specific sizes or types of steel for their construction jobs. We don't really do any big marketing. Most people find us because we have been at this address for a long time. The gates stay open throughout the day for the trucks. It’s a straightforward business with no frills. We spend our time counting inventory and making sure the loading is done safely. It is a lot of hard work and physical labor, but that is just the way the steel business is for us every single day.
