We’re located in Sanjay Gram, right across from Delhi Road in Gurgaon. Being at C-61 puts us in a very busy part of town. This is the office for Aryan Ispat And Power Private Limited. Gurgaon has changed so much over the years, with all the big buildings and malls, but our corner feels a bit more grounded. We deal with the day-to-day operations of the business, which means lots of coordination between the different departments. It’s a lot of talking to people on the phone and making sure the logistics for the steel are on track. The office is usually humming with the sound of computers and people talking. We don’t have those fancy open-plan offices you see in the movies; it’s more about rows of desks and plenty of filing cabinets. It’s a practical space. We drink a lot of chai to keep going through the long afternoons. Sometimes the traffic outside is so loud you can’t hear yourself think, but you get used to it. We just focus on the tasks at hand, making sure the orders are processed and the schedules are met. It’s a bit of a grind, but we’ve got a good rhythm going. We don’t go in for any big talk about what we do, we just do it and try to stay organized. There is always something to do and we like staying busy here.
