We are right here near the Dhanwapur railway crossing. It is a bit loud sometimes when the trains go by, but you get used to it after a while. The shop is full of steel bars, rods, and different metal things people need for building houses or fixing stuff. My family has been doing this for a while now. Most days start early before the sun gets too hot because moving heavy steel is no joke. The yard is dusty and there is always a truck being loaded or unloaded at the back. We have a few guys helping out with the heavy lifting and keeping the inventory straight, though it sometimes feels like a bit of a mess when a big order comes in. People from the neighborhood drop by to ask about prices or just to see if we have a specific size of iron angle in stock. It’s not a fancy place with a lobby or anything like that. Just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of metal piled up. Sometimes the dust gets on everything, but that’s just how it goes in this trade. We try to keep the books updated every evening so we know what’s left for the next morning. It gets pretty busy around noon. Most of our regulars know to just come in and find one of us in the back if the front desk is empty for a minute. It's just honest work in a busy part of town.
