We are located at 204 Tower 4 in Uniworld Gardens on Sohna Road in Gurgaon. Being in one of these big towers means we are part of the busy life that defines this city. Sohna Road is always packed with cars and people rushing to work. Our office is a simple space where we manage the steel side of things. It is a bit different from the industrial yards because it is more about the planning and the paperwork here. We have a few computers, some filing cabinets, and a lot of coffee to keep us going. The view from Tower 4 gives us a good look at the urban sprawl, which is always changing with new buildings going up. It’s funny because some of the steel we handle might end up in those very buildings. We don't have a lot of formal rules about how we talk or dress; we just focus on getting the orders right. It can get a bit loud with the sounds of the city coming through, but we are used to it by now. The commute can be a bit of a pain for some of us, but that is just part of living and working in Gurgaon. We try to keep things organized so that when a client calls, we have the answers ready. It is a practical office for practical work, and we don't try to make it seem like more than it is.
