We are based in House No. A216 on the ground floor of Today Blossom in Mayfield Garden. This is out in Sector-47 of Gurgaon, so it is quite a different environment compared to the industrial zones where the actual steel is made. Living and working in Haryana has its own pace. The office is essentially a converted space in a residential garden community. It is a quiet neighborhood most of the time, except when the school buses come through or people are heading to work in the morning. We spend our days here dealing with the logistics and the steel distribution side of things. There are plenty of files stacked up on the tables and the computers are always running. Since we are on the ground floor, we see people walking their dogs while we are trying to coordinate iron shipments. It feels a bit strange sometimes, being in such a nice green area while talking about heavy metal and factory outputs. The heat in Gurgaon during June is no joke, so we mostly stay inside with the fans on high. We have a small kitchen area where we make tea. It isn’t a corporate high-rise with glass walls, just a regular house that works for what we need. It’s simple and it gets the job done without any fuss. We try to keep the paperwork moving so the site operations don't get delayed. That is our main focus every single day.
