Steelman

Over at Plot No 297/7 in Partap Nagar, you’ll find our place, Steelman. We are situated on Old Railway Road, which is a busy stretch with plenty of other shops and businesses. The building itself is nothing special to look at, just a practical space where we keep our steel inventory. We deal with various types of steel that builders and local workshops need. Every morning starts the same way, opening up the shutters and checking the list of what needs to be delivered. The road outside can get pretty dusty, and there is always the sound of traffic in the background. We don’t have any fancy displays or a polished lobby. Most people come to us because they know we have what they need sitting right there in the yard or the warehouse. It’s a lot of physical labor, lifting and stacking heavy pieces of metal. Sometimes the inventory gets a bit disorganized when we are in a rush, but we always sort it out eventually. We focus on the practical side of things, making sure the measurements are right and the customer gets what they asked for. It’s an honest way to make a living, and we’ve been part of the Partap Nagar community for long enough that we know most of our regular customers by name. It is just a normal, everyday business trying to do things the right way.
