S.S. Steel Works

S.S. Steel Works is located in Indra Colony, which is part of Sector-52. It’s more of a workshop than a proper store. If you walk by, you’ll probably hear the sound of metal being cut or the buzzing of a welding machine. We spend our days making things like window grills, gates, and small steel frames for people’s houses. The shop is filled with tools, scraps of iron, and a few workbenches that have seen better days. It’s a bit of a cluttered place, but we know where everything is. We don’t have any office staff or a reception area. If you want to talk to us, you just come to the front of the shop and shout over the noise. Indra Colony is a busy place with lots of small businesses like ours. We’ve been in Sector-52 for a while, and we’ve done work for a lot of the families who live nearby. The air in the shop always smells like metal and smoke from the welding. We wear old clothes because they always end up getting dirty or burnt by sparks. We don't have any big brochures or pictures of our work. People just see what we’re building on the sidewalk and decide to give us a job. It’s hard work and the days are long, but we like being part of the local community. We just keep our heads down and finish the projects as they come in.
