We opened up here at Shop 11 on Sohna Road a good while back. It’s right in Islampur, opposite the Samvit Hospital and pretty close to that big Hyundai showroom. If you’ve ever walked past, you’ve probably heard the sound of metal clanging around inside. That’s just us doing what we do every day. Dealing with steel isn’t a clean job at all. There is usually dust on the floor and scraps of iron leaning against the back walls. We spend most of our mornings moving heavy rods and plates around. It’s a lot of physical work and my hands are usually stained by the time lunch rolls around. We don’t have any fancy reception area or a coffee machine for guests. It’s just a practical workspace where we get things done. People from the neighborhood stop by when they need something specific cut to size or welded. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with all the traffic on the main road and the machines running at the same time, but you get used to it after a week. We just keep our heads down and handle the orders as they come in. It’s not a complicated setup, just a local shop trying to stay busy and help the folks around here. We’ve seen the area change a lot lately with new buildings, but we’re still here in the same spot, doing the same basic work. It’s what we know.
