Sethi Steel Company

Sethi Steel Company is right on Pataudi Road, not far from the Sector-10A Chowk. You can usually see the stacks of metal from the road if you are driving by. It is a dusty place because of all the trucks and the wind blowing across the open ground. We spend most of the day outside or under the tin shed. There is a lot of clanging and banging as we move the steel around. It is hard work and it makes your hands calloused. We have a small office where we keep the ledger and a few chairs for when someone comes to settle a bill. It is not air-conditioned, so we keep the windows open and hope for a breeze. We get a lot of builders and contractors stopping by. They know we do not do much in the way of sales pitches. We just show them what we have in stock and tell them the price. The traffic at the chowk can get backed up in the morning, which makes it hard for our deliveries to get out on time. We just deal with it. It is just us and the steel and the heat. We have been at this for years and do not see any reason to change how we operate. It is a simple business for people who need materials. We keep an eye on the yard and make sure everything is accounted for.
