Nukkadwala

You can find us on the ground floor of Block 3 in Vatika Business Park. Being on Sohna Road in Sector 49 means we see a lot of office workers coming and going all day long. We started Nukkadwala because we wanted a place that felt a bit more like the streets and less like a corporate cafeteria. It’s a bit of a mix here. Some days are incredibly hectic, especially during the lunch rush when everyone from the surrounding blocks comes down at once. The kitchen is always noisy, and there is usually a smell of spices in the air that you can catch from the hallway before you even walk in. We don't have some grand philosophy about food. We just make things that we like to eat ourselves and hope others like them too. The chairs aren't the most comfortable in the world, but people don't seem to mind staying for a bit to chat. It’s a practical space for a quick bite or a break from the desk. We’ve had to fix the plumbing a few times and the menu has some coffee stains on it, but that's just how it goes when you're actually running a place every day. We just try to keep the food consistent and the orders moving so nobody is waiting too long. It’s a busy life here in the business park, and we’re just glad to be a part of the daily routine for the folks working nearby.
