You can find Sangam Caterers over at the Air Force Station Tuglakabad area. It’s a unique spot to be based, but it works well for us. We have been doing this for quite some time now. The kitchen is always humming with some kind of activity, whether we’re prepping for a small lunch or a larger gathering. We started this business because we just liked the idea of being our own bosses and making food that people actually want to eat. It’s not a glamorous job. There is a lot of cleaning and heavy lifting involved that people don’t see. We get our ingredients fresh every morning because that’s the only way we know how to do it. The staff here are mostly local people who have been with us for years. We’ve had some long days where things didn't go perfectly, like a delivery truck getting stuck or a power cut right in the middle of cooking. We just figure it out and keep going. We don’t have any fancy mission statements hanging on the walls. We just have a list of what needs to be cooked and when it needs to be delivered. It’s a practical way to live. If you’re in the Tuglakabad area, you’ve probably seen our vans moving around. We are just regular people working hard to make sure the food tastes like it should for every single plate.
